He was featured along with Matthew Lipman, viola, age 16 from
University Park, IL and Jingchen Sun, marimba, age 17, from New
York, NY.
|
| Mackenzie
has been selected to be an "Ambassador of Music" for
the From the Top School Program in which he educates and excites
students about classical music. |
Everyday Heroes
Mackenzie was excited to be honored as one of the "Everyday
Heroes" on behalf of Anna
Maria College. |
|
|
Anna Maria College takes pride in educated
people who are the "backbone" of the community:
the teachers, social workers, nurses, firefighters,
police officers, business and civic leaders who make
a positive contribution to both their profession and
to their communities.
Mackenzie was selected by the Everyday Heroes Committee
to be among that group, specifically for the joy he
has brought to senior citizens. He was the only child
to be so honored that evening.
Jack Williams, of CBS4 Boston was the featured speaker
and was honored for 25 years of Wednesday's Child.
The event and dinner was on November 11, 2006 at Mechanics
Hall. |
