Dear Mackenzie,
Just wanted to thank you again for your astonishing performance here at the
Bennington Center for the Arts last Friday evening. As I mentioned when we
spoke afterwards, I have spent the better part of my adult life working in
the arts. There is a palpable difference between a performer and an artist,
and you are most assuredly the latter. When you play, you become the music.
It was a privilege to be able to enjoy your artistry. I truly meant what I
said in your introduction that someday we'll be able to say "We heard you
when...". You have a very bright future ahead of you.Very best regards,
